Our Niece Turns 1!

Here we have Max, Eric, Becky, and Katie (Becky and Katie are sisters).  It was fun to see them.  Thanks for braving the winter storm!
 
 
 
 
MMmmmm, strawberry cupcakes for the birthday girl.  Robyn and Sam put on quite the feast for lunch!  It was 'nummers!!
 
 
 
 
Cousin Darius really wanted to blow the candle out.  Violet really wanted to  hold on to her green ball.  LOL
 
 
 
 
Brrrr, spumoni ice cream is cold, but I mustn't let go of my cake!
 
 
 
 
All done, and I'm really not very messy mom!

The Winter Season Has Begun

The Past Few Weeks

This year was the second year in a row we were able to host the Emmans Thanksgiving Dinner.  Jeremy and I are so happy to be able to open our house to our family for such a great time!
 
 
 
 
All of the Emmans/Rule Cousin's kids who attended (we had a few missing).  What a challenge to get a bunch of tired, cranky, 8 years old and under kids to look at the camera at the same time, let alone smile!

Kayleen, Alexander and Jill went on Dec. 1st to a local tree farm and cut down the tree.  The kids had fun "helping" saw the tree down.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Mom is having a hard time prying these hats off of Kayleen and Alexander.
 
 
 
 
 
Alexander likes to pretend to play the piano.  He gets the music books all set up and everything.  Then he plays and "trys" to say the notes outloud.  So funny!
