What an exciting past couple of days! Pretty much all of the Snoqualmie Valley is flooded. We didn't have any real flooding as the river stayed within it's banks. It was, however, full as can be! Here are a few shots taken today. The water has subsided quite a bit, but there is still quite a bit of standing water over the roadways.
This was taken right in our own neighborhood.
Our neighbors pumping the lake out of their front yard.
A few miles up the street from us a couple of the creeks rerouted themselves and have caused quite a bit of trouble. The next picture is where the water is headed....
...right down these poor folks driveway!
Nope, I still haven't gotten to town yet! Here's the scene in front of the Little Si Trailhead parkign lot.
Storm drain ditch in town overflowing it's banks and pouring into the road...water levels have actually subsided subsided. This street was closed yesterday.
Driving conditions around town.
Local businesses are "Closed Due To Flooding".
The Senior Center always gets hit hard with flooding. This storage shed off to the left, holds all the large items for the center's Thrift shop. It's under about a foot of water.
Hope you've enjoyed the tour. :-)

Glad you guys are ok over there. Flooding here is incredible. Tons of roads are closed and the river's been creeping up on Peter's clinic all day. The carpets are wet, but when he checked 1/2 hour ago, the water was starting to recede. What a relief!

Robyn, No pictures of the back yard this time around. I was in Auburn with you! LOL Jeremy didn't take any pictures either. The river had already gone down by the time I was busy taking pictures the next day. :-(
Tracy, Glad to hear the clinic did okay. I was worried about you guys! Those in lower North Bend and Snoqualmie areas were hit really hard. It's terrible. I'm sure very similar to you guys. Tons of roads closed, and streets eroded. The kids were off most of last week from school. Today they were back, but still with a one hour start time delay!
