1st Hike of the Season

Last Friday we decided to take advantage of the first beautiful weather of the season.  I'm glad we did since this last week has been cold, cold, cold!  Jeremy took a little time off from work and we hiked to the top of Little Si.  Just a few miles down the road from where we live.  This is a picture of the family at the top of the trail.  We only took our little 4MP camera so this is the best we could get.

Kayleen and Ethan are now certified trail runners.  :-)  Alex also hiked quite a bit of the way up the trail.  We said he was our "little hiker" and he replied that he was our, "big hiker".  He hiked up the middle third of the trail to our amazement!  The hike is 4 miles and we all had a great time.  Here are a few more pictures from our adventure: More Hike Photos.

Three Pigs Opera

Ethan made his opera debut yesterday. The Divo was not happy with wardrobe but put on his best face.

No Foolin'!

Happy April Fools Day!

Here are a few pictures from our snowfall last night...I kid you NOT!  It's very weird to have snow so late in the season.  The flakes were huge, but very wet.  Most all of it is gone today. :-(

Breakfast of Champions

Ethan was up at the crack of dawn this morning, so Jeremy took him to get a donut for breakfast.  The guys brought home a donut for Kayleen and Alex.  As you can see.  Alex was quite happy with his donut.

Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighbors held their annual Easter Egg Hunt. Kids five and under had a special section to hunt in. The older kids had to make sure everyone found 10 eggs before they could gather more.

Diggin' and Pullin'

Ethan and Alex had a great time in the dirt today.  Alex had fun being waist deep in dirt, and Ethan had a ball using the "grown up" shovel.

Ethan also has some exciting news!  He lost his second tooth!  We did have to pull it as it was so loose, but not falling out on it's own and was starting to cause Ethan some discomfort.
