My Picture Day Rebellion Tale

My sister-in-law recently had a picture day rebellion for school pictures.  I had something similar happen to me recently with sports pictures for my son Alex’s soccer team. For years now I have been unhappy with the quality of team pictures/individual pictures and the backgrounds used.   The fact that most of the team couldn’t make it on picture day only made it that much easier!  I took pictures for the team and made my OWN “Memory Mate”.  I’m very happy with how it turned out and I even learned new things in Photoshop I didn’t know before (which made it a painfully long process until I got the hang of it).  One of the best parts is Costco prints are cheap-o!  What usually costs $13, only cost each family $2 for a 8x10 print and 4 individual wallet prints!

The team photo was tough as you can imagine trying to get 6 kids with ants in their pants to stand still, look at the camera, and smile at the same time…ugh…I thought I was going to pull my hair out (“Put your hands down, look at the camera, stop moving, stand up…”).  Here is how Alexander’s turned out (each child got an individual photo and an action shot…the others are a serious team photo and a “silly” shot).
