‘Tis the Season!
Yep, we are just going to blow by the Thanksgiving themes. There are just too many Christmas templates I want to use this year. I love Christmas décor!!!
24 Hour Road Trip
The kids and I took advantage of a no-school last Thursday (Veterans Day) to visit Grandma and Grandpa Sester. We needed to bring them our old queen mattress and it was the perfect timing! Here is some of our trip…
We had to rent a Uhaul trailer because the queen is just way too big for our van. Fun times.
We came prepared this time.
And it was a good thing…
There were still some flowers in bloom and grapes on the vine.
Most of the morning and afternoon was sunny and nice. Mt. Hood even decided to peed though the clouds…
Heading out to the tree “maze” is always a fun treat for the kids! We made sure to wear our boots!
There is just something about this old water pump that fascinates me.
While we were there Grandpa and Grandma were getting a new layer of flooring!
How exciting. No more red carpet for these folks!
BEFORE
AFTER
While the guys were working, Grandma took us out to breakfast and a trip to WalMart for some goodies. Then a stop at Starbucks to top off the outing. After spending a good hour or so at Walmart, Grandma and myself really needed a yummy caffeinated beverage.
We all had a great time visiting and it was off to school the next day!
